Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/19/2023
Defeating Detroit, Dallas and Minnesota, Anaheim advanced to the Stanley Cup finals vs New Jersey in 2003, with the series going the full seven games. This Ducks jersey was issued to and prepared for Todd Rierden, on the chance he was called up from Cincinnati. A label with "58" sizing is affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with an embossed Ducks team crest, “36” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with alternate crests over each shoulder. The Stanley Cup finals patch resides above the right breast. Issued but never worn, the jersey remains in like-new condition. A MeiGray tag numbered “A08758” is sewn inside the reverse hem, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “White Finals GI” specimen. A matching LOA will accompany.
