This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/2/2023
A veteran of 20 NHL seasons after being drafted 134th overall by the St. Louis Blues in 1982, Doug Gilmour would win a Memorial Cup with Cornwall in 1981 and a Stanley Cup with Calgary in 1989. Up for grabs here is this lot of Gilmour memorabilia totalling five (5) with four (4) of the pieces having been signed by him. Starting with cards, two (2) copies of Gilmour’s 1984-85 O-Pee-Chee rookie card are included with one having been signed over the front by Doug with a blue ink signature that displays well with no issues. Appearing to remain in EX to EX-MT condition, the card is housed in a PSA holder with the company deeming the autograph as authentic. A second copy of the first-year cardboard is also found with this copy seen in the condition vicinity of EX with damage to two of the corners and centering issues both top-to-bottom and right-to-left. The last card included is a 2006-07 ITG International Ice autograph card of Gilmour picturing him as a member of Team Canada in 1987. Signed over the front with a black ink signature that displays perfectly, the card remains in the scope of EX-MT condition. To round out the collection, a framed display including a print of a painting of Gilmour during his time as a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs is included with Doug having signed the image with a bold blue autograph that displays without issue. A hockey card is also placed in the display while some damage is seen at the left side of the signed image. Housed in a black frame with dimensions of 14 ¾” x 12” that shows wear at the edges and corners, the last item included is a Toronto Maple Leafs souvenir puck that has also been signed by “Killer” with a gold ink signature over the front that shows no flaws. A Frozen Pond COA will accompany the puck which also shows no flaws.
