First on the NHL’s radar while leading the Drummondville Voltigeurs to the Memorial Cup semi-finals in 2009, Mike Hoffman was drafted 130th overall by the Ottawa Senators at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Offered here, is this Senators heritage third jersey worn by Hoffman during the 2015-16 season. Made by Reebok and porting a size “56” tag affixed to the inner collar, crests for both the NHL and Reebok adorn the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled in a way that resembles the jerseys of the original iteration of the Senators, the front features the classic capital “O” in the middle of the chest in layered tackle twill while the shoulders feature the Sens wordmark in both French and English contained within shields that resemble their old championship logos that were also in the same shape. The sleeves and verso have had Haoffman’s number “68” sewn to them in tri-layer tackle twill with “Hoffman” spelt across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer cream letters. Exhibiting game-use through board burns observed over each sleeve, a light stick mark is found at the front hem with a red board paint transfer mark seen near the right elbow. A Senators team tag with a hologram numbered “2405126” had been sewn onto the fight strap and the jersey is accompanied by a matching Senators COA. Regarding the photo-match, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #519703252 (April 6th, 2016 vs Florida) to the red coloured board paint transfer at the right elbow.
