Drafted 3rd overall by the Ottawa Senators in 1994, Radek Bonk would play a total of 969 games in the NHL split between Ottawa, Montreal and Nashville before returning home to the Czech Republic to finish out his career with HC Ocelari Trinec, whom he spent four seasons with between 2009 and 2013. Offered here, is this Montreal Canadiens jersey worn by Bonk during the 2006-07 season. Featuring a single size “58” tag affixed to the inner collar with a handwritten “1” seen above, designating the jersey as a set 1 example, the crests of Reebok and the NHL are found over the reverse neckline and hem respectively. Styled over the front with the famed “CH” crest of Les Canadiens in layered tackle twill with embroidered details, Bonk’s number “14” has been sewn to both sleeves and the verso in dual-layer tackle twill numerals. “Bonk” is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting just light wear seen in the form of a small handful of board burns and stick marks observed over both sleeves, the lower front and reverse and the left shoulder, a MeiGray patch numbered “D00522” is present inside the rear hem and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Red Set 1” specimen. An LOA from the Canadiens will accompany.
