The Detroit Red Wings joined both the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs in the Parkhurst lineup for the 1960-61 campaign with the complete set of 61 cards offered here paced by freshly slabbed examples of Gordie Howe, Terry Sawchuk and Jacques Plante earning marks of PSA NM 7 while the likes of Maurice Richard, Tim Horton and Jean Beliveau follow closely behind with very respectable EX-MT 6 designations on their labels. The rest of the set is found to be in a fairly uniform condition range of EX to EX-MT with decent centering, led by the raw ungraded cards of 26-Ullman, 36-Delvecchio, 38-Moore (light surface wear), 47-H. Richard (tiny bottom right corner ding), and 49-Beliveau in the vicinity of the previously mentioned EX to EX-MT, those of 3-Bower (tiny bottom right corner ding), 46-Geoffrion (light corner wear), 48-Harvey (light corner wear) and 59-Habs Trio (light corner wear and small discolouration at top border) are seen as being in the scope of EX condition. The keys are rounded out by a G to VG range copy of card #2 picturing Frank Mahovlich with other things worth noting being that card #17 of George Armstrong shows wear to the bottom right corner and #39 of Albert Langlois has either a gum or wax stain on the reverse. Additionally, five (5) extra (doubles) cards of #'s 18 (Brewer), 44 (Johnson) 46 (Geoffrion), 52 (Talbot) and 55 (Pronovost) are included all in the EX condition range while the Geoffrion example displays with wax on the front.
