Beginning his career in his native Russia with Atlant Moscow Oblast, Nikita Soshnikov signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs as an undrafted free agent, to a three-year, entry-level contract in March of 2015. After parts of three seasons with the blue and white, Soshnikov was traded to St Louis in February of 2015. From his second season in Ontario, we have a Leafs photo-matched rookie season jersey worn by Soshnikov in 2016-17. Size 56 is tagged to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests to the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the vintage style Leafs crest with embroidered detailing, "26" is sewn to the sleeves and verso in single navy twill. The jersey also sports an intact fight strap with "2" handwritten for second set, with the team patch residing on the inside hem. There is also the NHL centennial crest, affixed to the upper right sleeve. Showing light use with a few marks to each sleeve and just below the right shoulder, Getty Image #634626408 (Feb 4, 2017) has been matched to the blue thread visible at the top of the "6" of "26" on the right sleeve, with the slight bump at the top edge of the bottom section of the same "6" also visible, as well as the extended white thread at the bottom of the centennial crest on the right sleeve. A COA from the Leafs will accompany.
