Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/2/2023
A memorable season for both their first-place NHL regular season finish along with the benefit game that would be played for Ace Bailey, the Toronto Maple Leafs would go 26-13-9 during the 1933-34 campaign, with a number of notable HOfers in the line-up including Bailey, Clancy, Hainsworth, Jackson, Primeau, Conacher, Horner and captain Hap Day. We have a framed team picture of the 1933-34 NHL champion Leafs. The approx. 8” x 15” team picture features a sepia-toned image of the full team and coaching staff, with facsimile signatures of each player along the base. Set in a vintage frame at full dimensions of 10” x 18”, there appears to be a few small creases and toning, with wear to the frame.
Addendum; please take note that the titles and descriptions for lots 272 and 274 were inverted and have been changed.
While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
