Originally nicknamed "Charlie" after Charles Manson during the early part of his career in St Louis by teammate Brian Sutter due to his aggressive play and supposed resemblance, Doug Gilmour's nickname eventually morphed into "killer", and it stuck throughout his career. This signed stick was used by Gilmour circa the early-to-mid-1990s with Toronto, and was originally obtained by Dino Ciccarelli for his father who is now deceased. A Hespeler Fiberglas model with "Killer" stamped to the upper shaft, the stick retains the original white tape to the handle, with the blade tape removed. Exhibiting very light use with a bit of wear to the shaft, Gilmour has signed the blade in silver paint pen, with the signature standing out nicely. Hailing from the Dino Ciccarelli personal collection, his signed LOA will accompany.
