The only NHL player in history to be born in Taiwan, as his father an American serviceman was stationed there, Rod Langway was selected in both the NHL and WHA drafts of 1977, and played for both Montreal and Washington throughout his HOF career. A six-time All-Star, Langway earned back-to-back Norris trophies in the early-1980s. This Washington Capitals team-signed stick was used by the 1979 Stanley Cup champion circa 1990-92, and was originally obtained by Dino Ciccarelli for his father who is now deceased. A Victoriaville Ultra 4050 model, "R Langway" is stamped to the upper shaft, with the original white tape to the knob intact, with the blade tape removed. Showing light use with a few marks to the shaft and blade, along with tape residue to the upper shaft, 16 have signed in black marker including Ciccarelli, along with Don Beaupre, Mike Ridley, Tim Bergland, John Druce, Peter Bondra and others. Hailing from the Dino Ciccarelli personal collection, a signed LOA from Dino Ciccarelli will accompany.
