One of the winningest goaltenders of the modern era, Henrik Lundqvist has secured more victories than any other European netminder in history and was extremely popular with fans in Manhattan during his time between the pipes for the New York Rangers that totalled all fifteen of his years in the National Hockey League. Hailing from his lone Vezina Trophy winning season of 2011-12 in which he registered 39 wins in 62 games played along with a .930 save percentage, a 1.97 GAA and eight (8) shutouts, up for grabs here is this pair of photo-matched pads worn by the 2006 Olympic gold medalist. Bauer Supreme TotalOne model pillows decorated in the Rangers red, white and blue colours with Bauer wordmark logos over the outer roll of each, Hank’s personal crown logo and “Lundqvist” is embroidered into the outside of each boot landing. Displaying excellent game-use through countless puck marks throughout each piece other wear and use patterns are observed via sweat staining and red paint transfers on the interior leg channel and outside edge of each pad as well. All the present buckles and straps remain intact with the top strap of the left pad missing. Handwritten notations from Kay Whitmore are seen on the inside of the right pad with fraying to scuffing to the bottom edge and inside boot channel leather is observed as well from repeated constant use. Regarding the aforementioned photo-matches, the pads are matched with Getty Image #145323616 (May 25th, 2012 vs New Jersey – Eastern Conference Final Game 6) to numerous puck marks seen over the face of each pad. A Steiner hologram numbered “217370” is affixed at the top of the right pad and is accompanied by a matching Steiner LOA though it should be noted that it incorrectly lists the pads as being from the 2014-15 season.
