Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Winter 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/28/2023
Playing his first five NHL seasons with Anaheim, goaltender Mikhail Shtalenkov was claimed by Nashville in 1998 from the Ducks, but he was dealt to Edmonton before the start of the 1998-99 season. As such, this Predators inaugural season jersey was worn by the Russian in the preseason with Nashville. Bauer size "58" and Pro labeling is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Bauer crests to the reverse hem. Styled with the original Preds team crest with embroidered detailing, "35" in navy tackle twill with gold trim is sewn to the sleeves and verso, with alternate crests over each shoulder. The nameplate is also affixed by velcro, with this a trait of Nashville's preseason jerseys. Game wear is light with a few puck and stick marks visible. An LOA from the Predators will accompany.
