A groovy trio of bright coloured offerings sure to make you stand out in a crowd and inspire you to grow out the mustache and sideburns is this lot featuring vintage Los Angeles Sharks, Cleveland Crusaders and Los Angeles Kings team jackets from the early-to-mid-1970s. According to our consignor the Kings' jacket is Bob Pulford's coach jacket, the Crusaders' is Johnny Wilson's coach jacket and the Sharks' is Terry Slater's coach jacket. Starting with the Sharks example, the full zip jacket in bright red features a W.A Goodman and Sons label sewn to the interior collar that denotes the piece as a size “L”. A windbreaker style with a Sharks logo sewn over the left side chest, the piece remains in good condition with some pulls, small holes, scratches and fraying over the front and sleeves with a small number of stains seen in the same areas. The cloth black, red and white cuffs show some fading with the left cuff having some fraying as well. A second piece from the rival league is also present, a similar style nylon construction windbreaker jacket of the Cleveland Crusaders. Sporting a Duckster brand tag sewn to the inner collar with a soft cotton liner, the completely purple ensemble has a small Crusaders logo sewn over the left breast and is void of a zipper, opting for a snap button closure front instead with cinched cuffs and hem. The jacket remains in perfect vintage condition with no flaws seen whatsoever. Lastly, is a satin baseball style jacket from the early years of the Los Angeles Kinsgs. All purple with yellow and purple fabric cuffs, the jacket once again shows a W.A Goodman and Sons label in the inner collar with the inside of the jacket insulated with yellow fleece. A zipper closure that remains operable, the jacket shows soiling at the collar and inside at the zipper with assorted stains over the body and sleeves with other flaws such as fraying and scratches seen over the sleeves and reverse, especially the right one.
