Carrying the honor of being the first name called at the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets, Rick Nash would register 547 points in 674 games over nine years with the franchise. Hailing from his second all-star game in 2007, offered here is the Western Conference jersey worn by Nash during warm ups. Sporting a single size “58” label affixed the inner collar with NHL and Reebok crests adorning the front and back necklines respectively, the front of the jersey is decorated with the crest of the Western Conference in layered tackle twill with embroidered details with a small NHLPA crest found over the reverse hem. The Blue Jackets team crest resides over the right shoulder with the all-important 2007 All-Star Game patch featured over the left. The sleeves and verso of the jersey have been accented with Nash’s number “61” in white-over-grey tackle twill numerals, “Nash” is spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer white letters. Tackle twill stars matching the sleeve and verso numbers are found sewn to the sleeves and down the sides of the jersey. Worn for just the warm ups, the jersey remains in beautiful condition while showing no obvious signs of wear. Additionally, Nash has signed the reverse number “6” with a fine black ink signature that shows light bleeding but displays well otherwise. A MeiGray tag numbered “D02161” is affixed over the interior reverse hem and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Western Conference All-Star – Warm Up Set” specimen.
