Both seeing time in the NHL wearing the famed red, white and blue of Les Canadiens and suiting up for a combined total of 632 National Hockey League games over their respective careers, offered here is this pair of jerseys worn by Patrick Traverse and Sergei Kostitsyn while playing in the AHL with Montreal’s affiliate, the Hamilton Bulldogs. Traverse’s jersey, worn during the first half of the 2006-07 season in which the Bulldogs would win the Calder Cup, is made by Reebok with both labeling from the brand/AHL and size “56” flag tag affixed to the inner collar. Featuring Reebok logo patches over the reverse neckline and hem, an AHL patch is also found over the rear hem while the front of the jersey is decorated with the Bulldogs team crest that features embroidered details. Sporting a Pepsi sponsorship patch over the right breast and matching Canadiens logos over each shoulder, the sleeves and verso of the piece have been accented with Traverse’s number “44” in triple layer tackle twill. “Traverse” is spelt across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer blue twill letters. Exhibiting light-to-moderate game-use via stick marks to the left sleeve and shoulder as well as the front of the jersey, additional wear is observed through light stick marks seen on the reverse as well as pilling/snags on the outside of each elbow. A MeiGray patch is sewn over the inside hem with the jersey accompanied by a matching LOA.
The Kostitsyn jersey, worn during the 2007-08 season is also made by Reebok and shows the same brand/AHL labeling over the inner collar as well as a size “54” flag tag. Once again featuring Reebok logo patches over the reverse neckline and hem as well as an AHL patch alongside it at the bottom, the tie-neck jersey is decorated over the front with the same Bulldogs team crest in layered tackle twill with embroidered details and the Pepsi sponsorship patch over the right breast. With matching Canadiens logos over each shoulder, the sleeves and verso have been accented with Sergei’s number “74” in tri layer tackle twill numbers with “Kostitsyn” in single layer blue letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting light game-use, light stick marks are seen over the length of the left sleeve with yellow/orange liquid stains over the lower front, top of the Bulldogs crest and collar while a small cut is seen near the fight strap on the reverse and a board burn is seen over the Canadiens logo on the right shoulder. Additionally, Kostitsyn has signed the reverse number “4” with a silver ink signature that displays without issue.
