Drafted 103rd overall in 1991 by the Quebec Nordiques, Bill Lindsay would forge out a National Hockey League career that spanned 777 games and included a trip to the 1996 Stanley Cup Finals as a member of the Florida Panthers. Hailing from his swan song season in the league, we offer this Atlanta Thrashers jersey worn by Lindsay during the 2003-04 pre-season. Sporting a single size “56” label affixed to the inner collar, a CCM crest is found over the reverse neckline while the NHL logo has been embroidered into the rear hem. Decorated over the front with a large and attractive tackle twill Trashers team crest with embroidered details, matching alternate logo patches reside over each shoulder. The sleeves and verso of the jersey have been embellished with Lindsay’s number “12” in dual layer tackle twill numerals with “Lindsay” spelt out across the affixed matching nameplate in matching style. Exhibiting good game wear, stick marks are seen over the lower front, behind the left shoulder and over each sleeve. Both sleeves show numerous board burns and board paint transfers while the left sleeve also shows a small unrepaired hole. Additionally, stains are seen over both sleeves and the body of the jersey. A MeiGray tag numbered “B00596” is sewn inside the reverse hem and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “White Preseason” specimen. A matching MeiGray LOA will accompany the piece.
