Still regarded by many as the greatest player the game of basketball has ever seen, Michael Jordan would win everything he possibly could over the course of his 15-year NBA career including six (6) championships and five (5) NBA MVP Awards. For those looking to add a little bit of “His Airness” to their collections, up for grabs here is this Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls framed montage display that included a piece of floor signed by the man himself. All housed in its entirety in a sleek black coloured shadow box display that measures out to full dimensions of 21 ½” x 17 ½” x 3”, the box shows just light wear to the edges and corners that is worth mentioning for accuracy. Using an image of MJ’s famous dunk from the 1988 NBA Dunk Contest as the background inside the display, a 6” x 6” piece of hardwood sits near the bottom that has been signed over the middle by Jordan with a bold black ink signature that displays without issue while a gold coloured plaque decreeing that the floor piece was used in Chicago Stadium from 1987 to 1994 sits beside the signed hardwood. Of note, the floor piece has the ability to turn within the frame and is not affixed firmly straight. Sporting an Upper Deck hologram numbered “BAC81834” is affixed to the floor piece and is accompanied by a letter from the company that states that the autograph is in fact authentic while the piece of floor cannot be confirmed as a Bulls used piece due to the lack of a Bulls hologram therefore, we are offering it as a signed floor piece only. The letter also states that the hologram corresponds to a signed floor piece only and is in no way connected to any Upper Deck finished product. An Upper Deck COA is affixed to the back of the piece but is not the correct one and is why the letter was produced. A JSA Auction LOA will accompany the piece.
