Selected 8th overall at the 1986 NHL Entry Draft and dressing for four different clubs throughout his career, Pat Elynuik made his NHL debut for the Winnipeg Jets in 1987-88, where he saw action in just 13 games. The Foam Lake native would spend four full seasons in River City which included a pair of 30+ goal campaigns. From his rookie season, we have a photo-matched Jets jersey worn by Elynuik in 1988-89. Maska labeling with affixed staple is attached to the collar, with the jersey measuring out to a size 54. Featuring the classic Jets team crest in use from 1979 to 1990, "15" is sewn to the sleeves and verso in blue-over-red tackle twill, with "Elynuik" to the nameplate in single white twill. The jersey also sports the Goals for Kids patch to the right sleeve. There is also a CCM logo to the reverse hem, with the dual-clasp fight strap intact. Game-use included numerous puck and stick marks to the front band and sleeves, with a few small holes to the front including just above the team crest. A couple burn marks and small stains are also visible. Elynuik's 1990-91 Upper Deck hockey card has been matched to the black mark to the right of the team crest, while his Kraft hockey card has been matched to black marks on the right sleeve.
