Hometown talent Danny Dekeyser went undrafted but made his NHL debut for the Detroit Red Wings in 2012-13, suiting up for the red and white until the end of the 2021-22 season. Presented here, is this jersey worn by Dekeyser during the 2015 Hall of Fame Game on November 6th, 2015. Made by Reebok, a size “56” fly tag is affixed to the inner collar, with the original Red Wings price tag still attached, while NHL and Reebok logos adorn the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famed Red Wings crest over the front, the Hall of Fame Game patch is seen over the right breast. Of note, the patch was originally affixed to the left side where residue can be seen, the team removed the patch and the jerseys were worn until later in the season with the patch reapplied on the wrong side when they were offered for sale. DeKeyser’s number “26” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in single layer tackle twill with “DeKeyser” arched across the top in similar style. Exhibiting good game-wear, numerous team repairs are found on each sleeve with stick marks and board burns seen over the front, sleeves and shoulders as well. Sweat stains are also seen at the collar with pilling found on the inside at the cuffs, elbows and rear hem. DeKeyser has signed the back number “5” with a black ink signature that displays without issue with an added “Game-Used 2015-16” inscription alongside it. A team patch and barcode are found on the interior denoting the jersey as a 2015-16 1st set specimen with “65663” also found, matching the accompanying COA. Additionally, the jersey is photo-matched with Getty Image #507413474 (January 26th, 2016 vs New York) to the stick mark on the lower front.
