Drafted 7th overall by the Blue Jackets in 2007, Jakob Voracek spent the first three years of his career in Columbus before being traded to Philadelphia, which he would call home for 10 seasons. Traded back to the Blue Jackets before the start of the 2021-22 season, we offer this jersey worn by Voracek during his first year back in Ohio. An Adidas band with “56” sizing appears over the inner collar with two handwritten silver dots found over the screened on Primegreen logo. Logos of the NHL shield and Adidas adorn the front and back necklines respectively while the front of the jersey is decorated with a textured, partially embroidered team crest with alternate logo patches residing over each shoulder. Voracek’s number “93” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in ventilated tackle twill with “Voracek” found across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer white tackle twill letters. Exhibiting light game-wear, a handful of board burns are found over the right elbow with a couple snags found over the front and near the right cuff. A team patch is affixed inside the rear hem, denoting the jersey as a “2021-22 season official game jersey” with a MeiGray patch numbered “U04392” alongside it. According to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Blue Set 1” specimen, with the first set of jerseys worn between October 14th and December 5th of 2021. A Blue Jackets LOA will accompany the jersey.
