Always in the discussion for the greatest New York Yankee of all-time, Mickey Mantle led the Bronx Bombers during their golden era with a career spanning 18 years with 7 World Series Championships. Presented here is this jersey that has been signed over the front by Mantle with a beautiful blue ink signature that displays without issue. A Mitchell and Ness flannel replica of the jersey worn by Mickey during his 1951 rookie season, the piece has been accented with the hand painted artwork of William Zavala in black and white over the lower front, showcasing “The Mick” hitting and fielding on a backdrop of Yankee Stadium. The artwork displays elegantly and without issue with the entire piece flanked by navy and white double matts. Measuring out to full frame dimensions of 37 ½” x 45 ½” and housed in a wooden frame that displays with only light wear to the corners, the piece comes accompanied by an LOA from JSA for the signature.
While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for damage to frames that occur during shipping.
