Evolving from benefit games played for Ace Bailey, Howie Morenz and Babe Siebert, the first official NHL All-Star Game took place in 1947, with the original All-Star contests pitting the then-current Stanley Cup champion against a team of NHL All-Stars, with this occurring until 1968. With years ranging from 1989 to 2007 is this collection of eight (8) NHL All-Star Game Weekend tickets with all having been certified and graded by iCert. Examples are present for 1989, 1992 (All-Star Friday), 1998, 1999 (Both the All-Star Game and SuperSkills/Heros of Hockey event on All-Star Saturday), 2000 (Both the All-Star Game and SuperSkills/Heros of Hockey event on All-Star Saturday) and 2007. All the tickets feature beautiful imagery and artwork with the event venues and location information featured over the front. The grades of the tickets fall between “A” for authentic to as high as a MT 9 example for the 1999 All-Star Game example. The breakdown for the remaining grades includes “A” designations for the 1989 All-Star Game and 1999 All-Star Saturday, with both showing edge and corner wear. EX 5 for the 1992 All-Star Friday stub that shows corner and edge wear along with light surface wear. EX-MT 6.5 for the 1998 All-Star Game stub that minimal wear corner wear and creasing and NM 7’s for the 2000 All-Star Game and All-Star Saturday examples as well as the 2007 All-Star Game ticket with all three having light corner touches.
