Celebrating a trio of significant moments in Canadian baseball history, we present this collection of ticket stubs that includes examples from the 1983 MLB All-Star Game in Montreal, October 5th, 1985 when the Toronto Blue Jays clinched the AL East and Game 2 of the 1993 World Series. First is the ticket from 1983 MLB All-Star Game in Montreal. The game was the first of its kind held outside the United States and saw the National League take home the victory, led by MVP Dave Concepción, with a 4-1 score. The ticket stub displays the 1982 All-Star Game logo and date of July 13, 1982 along with the original price of $18.00. The stub displays in admirable condition with just light marks to the front and back as well as a light tape mark on the back. Next, is a stub from the night the Toronto Blue Jays clinched the American League East on October 5th, 1985 marking their first trip to the postseason. Showcasing the date along with the Blue Jays logo and “1985”, the original price of $10.50 is displayed above the date. The ticket displays well with just light wear to the edges visible to the naked eye. Lastly, is a stub from Game 2 of the 1993 World Series between the Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies would tie the series at a game a piece with a 6-4 win fueled by a 5 run 3rd inning. Displaying “1993 World Series” and “Game 2” along with the original price of $58.00, the stub displays well with a crease all the way across at the middle needing mentioning. All three stubs have been encapsulated by iCert and deemed authentic by the company.
