Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/14/2022
The only player in NHL history to play a full 82 game schedule and score just a single point, Ken Baumgartner enjoyed a dozen seasons as a premier enforcer, registering over 2,200 penalty minutes throughout his career while dressing for five different clubs. From his first full season in Ontario, we have a Leafs jersey worn by the Flin Flon native in 1992-93. Maska Ultrafil labeling along with “54” fly tag remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the forever-classic Leafs team crest and “22” in single twill sewn to the sleeves and verso, the Stanley Cup 100th anniversary patch sits over the right breast along with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. The original dual-clasp fight strap has also been modified/altered into a lace strap. Showing good game-use, the jersey sports marks, scrapes and burns to the sleeves. An LOA from the Leafs will accompany.
