Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
The second Stanley Cup championship of his illustrious career, Wayne Gretzky would lead the Edmonton Oilers to the promised land for a second-consecutive season in 1984-85, with his remarkable 47 playoff points scored in 18 games a record that will never be broken. Celebrating one of the greatest postseason performances for any sport, we have a limited-edition signed “1985 Stanley Cup” framed photo display. Featuring a triple-matted 20” x 24” photo of Wayne hoisting North America's oldest sporting trophy, a small plaque beneath has a quote from The Great One, with his signature executed in silver paint pen with no issues. The limited-edition number of “67/99” is handwritten within the bottom right near a WGA hologram, with a matching COA to accompany. We should also note some minor spotting to the matte along the perimeter of the 28" X 34" frame.
Please note; While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for any damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
