Dressing in over 1,000 NHL contests for five different teams, defenseman Bret Hedican was drafted by St Louis in 1988, and was a member of a Stanley Cup championship with Carolina, in 2006. The Saint Paul native has also represented the US internationally, including at the IIHF World Championships and Winter Olympics. This photo-matched Hurricanes jersey was worn by Hedican in 2007-08. A CCM label with “58” sizing is affixed to the collar with “6” handwritten, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with a partially-embroidered ‘Canes team crest, the red V-neck has been accented with “6” sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with the 10th anniversary crest to the right breast. Hedican has signed the reverse number in black marker, with no issues for the signature. Exhibiting light to moderate game-use with a few marks to the team crest and additional marks and faint burns to the sleeves. Getty Image #77310327 (Oct 3, 2007) has been matched to the two marks on the lower portion of the team crest, with the extended white threading at the middle of the "6" on the left sleeve also visible. An original purchase receipt from the Hurricanes will accompany.
