This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
Spending 15 of his 19-year National Hockey league career in Western Canada with the Edmonton Oilers, including a trip to the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals, Ryan Smyth would register 631 points in 971 games played with Edmonton. Worn by Smyth during the 1998-99 season is this Edmonton Oilers jersey. Made by CCM with size “56” and Elite Sportswear labeling affixed to the inner collar, CCM and NHL logos are embroidered over the rear hem. A textured Oilers crest is found on the front of the jersey in layered tackle twill while alternate logo patches reside over each shoulder. The sleeves and verso have been accented with Smyth’s number “94” with “Smyth” in similar style spelt out above on the affixed matching nameplate. A "Set #2 98/99" team patch is found sewn to the inner rear hem. Exhibiting good game-wear, stick marks are found on the crest and lower front while the shoulders and sleeves show stick marks, board burns, paint transfers and team repairs. An LOA from the Oilers will accompany.
