Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
A product of the WHL’s Regina Pats, Brandon Davidson was drafted by Edmonton in 2010 and spent parts of four seasons with the club in two separate stints. The Lethbridge native is currently an unrestricted free agent. From his second NHL season in 2015-16, we have a signed helmet worn during the second half of the season – from the end of December to the conclusion of the season, and gloves worn by the defenseman during the season for 3rd jersey games and practices. First, the helmet is a CCM model in solid white with Oilers decals to each side and “88” to the forehead and lower reverse, with an NHL sticker on the reverse right. The chin strap and Oakley visor is intact, with an inventory label from the Oilers affixed to the interior, and a second inventory tag attached to the right ear loop. Light game-use is shown with a few scratches visible, with Davidson signing the top in thick silver paint pen. The gloves are CCM models in navy blue with “Davidson” screened to each, with the pair showing light use including minor pilling to the right palm. Each glove has been signed in silver, with the signatures blending into the material somewhat. An LOA from the Oilers will accompany along with a signed photo card, and it matches the inventory numbers on both items.
