With only a single season of existence, the CFL’s Las Vegas Posse did manage to field some impressive talent including a rookie quarterback named Anthony Calvillo. Presented here and hailing from that lone 1994 season is a lot of two game-worn Las Vegas Posse jerseys of players Eric Geter and Lance Johnson. Both jerseys are made by Starter with Geter’s white home jersey sized out to a “42 Long” and Johnson’s black road jersey coming in bigger at “46 Long”. Both jerseys feature fully screened numbers, logos, and player names on matching affixed nameplates with the only embroidery or patches found being that of the Starter logo on each jersey’s left shoulder and rear neckline, the CFL logo on the front neckline, and the hem jock tags that list size information as well as a small “94” patch on each to designate the season. Game wear is exhibited on each jersey with Johnson’s being the lighter of the two examples, showcasing only slight marks on the left shoulder and nameplate whereas Geter’s jersey being riddled with marks and paint transfers on the shoulders as well as having a seam split on the right-side collar bone area of about 1 inch long. Overall both jerseys present extremely well and tell the tale of an ill-fated franchise during the Canadian Football League’s Hail Mary attempt at US expansion in the 1990’s.
