The first MLB team in almost half a century to go through the entire season without being swept in a single series, the Toronto Blue Jays finished first in the American League East at the conclusion of the 1992 season and defeated the Atlanta Braves to claim the first Fall Classic north of the border. This baseball has been team-signed by the 1992 World Series champion Blue Jays. An Official Rawlings 1992 World Series sphere, approx 26 have signed, mostly in blue ballpoint, including HOFers Dave Winfield and Roberto Alomar, along with Kelly Gruber, Dave Cone, Pat Tabler, Dave Steib, Pat Borders, Todd Stottlemyre, Cito Gaston (manager), Tom Henke, Alfredo Griffen, Ed Sprague, David Wells, Pat Hentgen, Jimmy Key and others. The signatures remain bold and present beautifully, with some minor toning to the ball along with a few small stains. An 8” x 14” plastic and wooden display case with plaque to display the ball is also included.
