Amassing a total of 805 points in 1060 games played over the course of his National Hockey League career, Rick Nash was no stranger to creating offense for the teams he played for over the course of his career. Perhaps best remembered for the time he spent in Columbus with the Blue Jackets, where the sniper would spend the first nine years of his NHL career, is this TPS Response R8 stick that was used by Nash during the 2007-08 season while playing for the aforementioned Blue Jackets. Featuring familiar tape styles on both the handle and blade as other Nash sticks, the heel has been signed by the former Rocket Richard Trophy winner in silver ink that displays well with no flaws whatsoever. Game wear on the piece is fairly heavy throughout and is exhibited in the form of puck marks, scratches, graphic wear, nicks, and chips. The factory graphics “Nash 61” below the knob has worn away and only about half of the name is currently present. The stick has no cracks or breaks and presents well with all the wear that it has. Additionally, the stick has been photo-matched to the 2008 NHL All-Star Game in Atlanta with Getty Images #79283429 to the puck marks found on the backside of the blade. The photo shows Nash scoring a goal during the game against Florida Panthers goalie, Thomas Vokoun. An excellent piece that would make a welcome addition to your collection!
