A new acquisition for Columbus heading into the 2017-18 season, Artemi Panarin was a young star on the rise and ready to develop into one of today’s best offensive talents. Panarin would spend a pair of seasons in Georgia and we offer a photo-matched Blue Jackets jersey worn by the Russian star during his first season, in 2017-18. “54” sizing is listed across the Adidas collar band, with NHL and Adidas crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a textured team crest, “9” in ventilated twill is sewn to the sleeves and verso, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. The jersey also sports the NHL centennial crest, affixed to the right sleeve. Game-use is exhibited with a few burn marks over the sleeves and traces of red paint transfer. Getty Image #891159202 (Dec 9, 2017 vs Arizona – Panarin had 1 assist) has been matched to the clump of burn marks over the lower right sleeve, while Getty Images #900319940 (Dec 1, 2017 vs Anaheim – Panarin had a goal and 2 assists for a 3-point night) and #900283168 (Nov 28, 2017) have both been matched to the clump of burn marks over the lower left sleeve. Lastly, Getty Image #891159208 (Dec 9, 2017 vs Arizona – Panarin had a single assist) has been matched to the extended thread visible at the top of the NHL centennial crest. The team patch and a crest from MeiGray are affixed to the inside hem, and according to the MeiGray population report, the jersey is a “Blue w/ NHL Centennial Patch – In Arena Auction” specimen. A MeiGray LOA will accompany.
