Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
The first championship won at home by the mighty Indian head since 1938, the Chicago Black Hawks defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1995 Stanley Cup finals, with this the franchise’s third championship in just six seasons. Captain Jonathan Toews would lead the club in scoring throughout the season, with Duncan Keith earning the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP. This hardcover copy of the Black Hawks book One Goal III has been signed by 13 members of the 1995 Stanley Cup champion Chicago Black Hawks. An especially impressive volume, loaded with enthralling text and stunning photography relating to the club’s championship season, all 13 have signed the first two-page center spread in both black and silver marker, including Toews, Kane, Keith, Crawford, Hjalmarsson, Kruger, Rundblad and a few others. The signatures present well, with just light handling wear to the book. A COA from the Black Hawks will accompany.
