Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
Joining once again, in collaboration with the Montreal Canadiens, Classic Auctions is pleased to offer a large collection of artifacts and memorabilia from the storied club's comprehensive archives. A number of historic specimens direct from the famous team including unique displays that were once marvelously displayed in the hallowed Montreal Forum and later at the Bell Centre are available, with an endless array of legendary and monumental players featured that all proudly once donned the sacred jersey of the mighty Montreal Canadiens.
A mainstay with the Canadiens for 13 seasons, Brunet switched to the number 17 in 1996-97 and delivered his third 10-goal season. There are a few scuffs and marks on the front of the frame, including a corner ding, as to be expected from hanging in one of hockey's holy temples, but it will display nicely in your home or office. There is also a plate with Brunet’s name and number that was glued to the front. On the back, there are pieces of Velcro affixed and some scratches. However, this will in no way take away from your enjoyment of this unique piece. Direct from the archives of the Montreal Canadiens, this framed display was likely displayed at the Molson Centre/Bell Centre. An LOA from Classic Auctions will be included.
