Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
Highlighted by four desirable and harder to find vintage Blueshirts specimens, this lot offers a collection of seven vintage pucks, including four that were produced for the New York Rangers. Included, we have what appears to be a 1958-62 Art Ross Tyer Rangers game puck (the rubberized orange logos are almost completely worn and dried out with alligatored surface, with it hard to make out whether there is a “Made in USA” designation), a 1973-83 Viceroy Rubber Shield Rangers game puck, a rarely seen 1980-83 Viceroy – Viceroy Official Reverse Rangers puck, and a Gerry Cosby Rangers souvenir puck with large team logo. This is followed by a 1975-78 Biltrite – Large Crest/Small WHA Winnipeg Jets game puck, a 1972-74 Biltrite Rawlings Chicago Black Hawks souvenir puck, and a Wayne Gretzky pictorial souvenir puck. The pucks all show light to moderate wear unless otherwise noted, with a bit of surface residue to the NHL logo side on the 1980-83 Viceroy puck.
