Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022

A Stanley Cup champion with Colorado in just his second NHL season, Martin Skoula skated for six different NHL clubs throughout his career and also saw action in the KHL and the Czech Chance Liga. This Colorado Avalanche jersey was worn by the 2011 All-Star during his rookie campaign in 1999-00. A Pro Player label and “58” size tag is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Pro Player crests over the reverse hem. Styled with a textured Aves team crest with embroidered detailing, “55” is sewn to the sleeves and verso, with matching alternate Bigfoot crests over each shoulder along with the NHL 2000 crest over the right breast. A “3” has also been added to the fight strap to signify its “Set #3” origin. Sporting nice game-use, there are a few dark marks over the front and sleeves, with a few small stains on and near the team crest. There is also some faint red and blue paint transfer to the lower right sleeve, with a small slit near the left elbow.
