This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
The most recent of the 24 Stanley Cup championships won by the most successful hockey team in existence, the Montreal Canadiens would finish in just sixth place overall when the 1992-93 NHL season concluded. Despite losing the first two games of the postseason to Quebec, the Habs would rally and dispatch of the Nords, Sabres and Islanders before defeating Wayne Gretzky and the Los Angeles Kings in the final. This jersey has been signed by six members of the 1993 Stanley Cup champion Habs. A Fanatics model with “2XL” sizing along with a synthetic team crest and “93” in tackle twill, “Stanley Cup” appears over the nameplate in white twill, with all six signing the numbers in matching blue sharpie, including Patrick Roy, Serge Savard (management), Brian Bellows, Mike Keane, John LeClair and one other. The signatures exhibit a bit of bleeding into the material. A hologram has been placed at the base, with a COA to accompany.
