This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
Serving with the Canadian Armed Forces during the First World War, Frank Fredrickson later captained the famous Winnipeg Falcons to victory at the 1920 Winter Olympics, with a Stanley Cup championship also won with Victoria in 1925. Honoured with HOF enshrinement in 1958, Fredrickson passed just over two decades later, in 1979. Offered here, is this Victoria Cougars sweater style jersey made by Ebbets Field Flannels with a cut signature of Fredrickson’s embedded into the back number. Remaining in new-with-tags condition, the size “XL” garment has been styled with a white felt “VC” over the front. The reverse of the jersey exhibits Fredrickson’s number “25” in matching felt material with the cut signature inserted into the bottom of the “5”. Signed in black fountain ink, the autograph displays without issue. A hologram is affixed alongside the number, with the piece also accompanied by a JSA LOA.
