Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
A standout during his time in the WHL with Brandon, Prince George and Victoria, Mike Leclerc was drafted by Anaheim in 1995 and spent parts of eight seasons with the club, along with a single season split between Calgary and Phoenix. From his first season in 1996-97, where he appeared in five regular-season contests, we have a Mighty Ducks jersey issued for training camp use to the Winnipeg native. This style of jersey originates from the previous season, and shows no evidence of a former nameplate. A CCM “Mighty Ducks” label with affixed production date sticker and size “54” fly tag reside along the collar, with embroidered Nike and NHL crests on the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the embossed Ducks team crest in use from 1993-2006, the white V-neck has been embellished with layered tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Leclerc” sewn to the nameplate in single purple twill. Showing no signs of game-use, the jersey remains in gorgeous like-new condition.
