Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
The only example we have ever offered, this extremely scarce metal ring was part of the Bee Hive corn syrup promotion that ran from 1949 to 1951, and features Red Wings HOF goaltender Harry Lumley. Pictured in his crease stance on the front of this desirable specimen, one side features a miniature of the trophy that all players dream of winning, with "Stanley Cup" engraved above, while the other side has a puck with crossed sticks and "NHL" above. The coveted treasure shows moderate wear including across the face, with some additional minor surface wear over each side, with the circular band now compromised and bent.
