Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2020
Large and imposing at 6’4” and north of 220 lbs, Jim Sandlak was drafted 4th overall in 1985 and spent the majority of his career on the west coast with Vancouver. “The House” would also see two seasons of action in Hartford. From his time in British Columbia, we have a signed Canucks jersey worn by Sandlak in 1990-91, where he appeared in 59 games. A Maska Ultrafil label with handwritten “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Featuring the classic Canucks team crest with embroidered detailing, “25” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Sandlak” across the affixed nameplate in single black twill. Exhibiting nice game-use with wear to the material throughout including numerous scuff marks, there is also a bit of staining just above the team crest. Sandlak has signed over the right breast in black marker, with the signature displaying well.
