Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020

Uncut sheet aficionados are well served this time around with numerous (28-1/4” by 43”) killer displays to consider. Two-thirds of O-Pee-Chee’s (396-card) 1975-76 issue is served up here on two sheets. Curiously, one dominates the star power, with Bobby Orr, Guy Lafleur and a dozen other Hall of Famers appearing on one and Billy Smith the lone HOFer on the other (when regular and all-star cards are taken into account), with Orr featured on three “specials.” A ’76-77 sheet features a return to OPC’s usual assortment of groovy colors, with Bobby in an air-brushed Blackhawks uniform and joined by Dryden and five other Canadiens HOFers (and 10 others), as well as team and “line” cards – cool. The ’76-77 sheet is the best condition-wise, with more details on our website.
None of the sheets are crease-free, with however mostly only subtle light creases in the ’76-77 example and creasing more evident in the two earlier entries. The top two rows and the lower left corner region (where two Orr league leader cards show up) of the Orr/multiple HOFer sheet is where the most obvious creases are observed. Nevertheless, you and your guests will enjoy observing/admiring these riveting pieces.
