This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Producing numerous firsts for netminders during his dominant run in the 1990s, Dominik Hasek was the first European-trained starting goaltender to win the Stanley Cup while also being the first between the pipes in history to win multiple Hart Memorial trophies. The Czech superstar also earned six Vezina trophies from 1993 to 2001, with HOF enshrinement in 2014. This signed stick was used by The Dominator during his Vezina and Jennings-winning season of 2000-01. A TPS model with “Hasek” over the shaft, the stick retains the original white tape on the blade and handle (a few strands are missing from the blade), with a production code on the underside of the shaft. Hailing from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
The stick exhibits light game-use with a few puck marks and wear to the taped section of blade, with a few additional marks to the paddle. Hasek has signed over the upper paddle in black marker, adding a personalization, with the signature displaying beautifully.
