Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Featuring four prominent Hockey Hall of Fame builders who all factored into the success of the Toronto Maple Leafs and National Hockey League at large, this lot offers a collection of blue and white player contracts from the 1970s totaling six, with signatures present from deceased builders John A Ziegler, Clarence Campbell, Punch Imlach and Jim Gregory. Included, we have contracts for George Ferguson (1972) and Bob Russell (1978) signed by Gregory, contracts for Blair MacKasey (1976) and Paul Evans (1977) signed by Gregory and Campbell, a contract for Pat Boutette (1977) signed by Gregory and Ziegler and a contract for Jiri Crha signed by Imlach. Each player has signed his contract, with the signatures in the group all displaying well with no issues. The contracts themselves show light handling wear. Campbell passed away in 1984, Imlach in 1987, Zielger in 2018 and Gregory in 2019.
