Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
A veteran of 17 NHL seasons and averaging better than a-point-a-game with 1398 points scored in just 1251 games, Jari Kurri spent a single season in Milan in 1990-91 before teaming up once again with Wayne Gretzky as a member of the Los Angeles Kings, in 1991-92. Originating from that very season, we have a signed stick used by the Finn. A KOHO 2240 Revolution model, “Kurri” appears over the upper shaft stamped-on, with the original black tape in place over the knob. The blade tape has been removed to facilitate the large signature with personalization, with Jari signing “To Jim Best Wishes”, along with the date of “1991”. With just light use visible including wear to the underside of the blade, the stick is ideal for prominent display.
