Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017

Drafted by the Boston Bruins in 1980, defenceman Randy Hillier spent parts of a dozen seasons in the world’s best league, winning a Stanley Cup with the Penguins in 1992, later working with the club in an assistant coaching capacity. This Bruins jersey was worn by Hillier in 1982-83, his second of three seasons with the club, and it’s been photo-matched. Faded Sandow labeling sits affixed to the collar with an equally faded laundering tag, with a screened-on Sandow crest over the back bottom hem. Styled with the famous spoked-B team crest in use since 1949, the white mesh V-neck has also been accented with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers administered in tackle twill, with attractive matching bruin alternate crests over each shoulder. The garment is also currently void of it's nameplate.
Great use is exhibited on the desirable sweater, with heavy repaired board burns along with a ton of red paint transfer over each sleeve, with additional team repairs over both the front and reverse. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, an included numeric image has been matched to the red paint transfer between the numbers on the right sleeve.
