Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Known simply as Juan Gone, Puerto Rican outfielder Juan Gonzalez spent 13 seasons in The Lone Star state, averaging 37 HR and 117 runs-batted-in per season from 1991-1999. This lot contains a signed Gonzalez Texas Rangers jersey, and a signed Cooper bat. The jersey features Russell Athletic tagging in the collar, along with additional Russell and Diamond Collection patches on the lower front. With dual-colour tackle twill numbers and team crest, Gonzalez has signed on the lower front right in black marker, with the signature showing some slight fading but presenting well. The bat is a 34” Cooper Pro 100 model in high grade, with stenciled center brand and intact handle sticker. Juan has signed on the barrel in blue marker, and the signature remains flawless. Stickers from JSA have been placed on the bat’s knob and jersey’s lower front, with matching JSA basic certification COA’s to accompany.
