Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
One of the NHL’s longest-standing awards, the Hart Memorial Trophy is presented annually to the "player judged most valuable to his team" in the National Hockey League. The award was first presented to Frank Nighbor in 1924, with the current holder Patrick Kane. We have an impressive photo of the famous trophy, and it’s been signed by 11 past recipients. At 16” x 20”, the glossy print features a full colour image of the award, with signatures on each side administered in silver paint pen, with each listing their respective winning season(s). Included from top to bottom, left to right are Jean Beliveau HOF (D. 2014), Elmer Lach HOF (D. 2015), Andy Bathgate HOF, Milt Schmidt HOF, Dominik Hasek HOF, Sergei Fedorov HOF, Guy Lafleur HOF, Bobby Clarke HOF, Eric Lindros HOF, Bobby Hull HOF and Phil Esposito HOF. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
The signatures display extremely well with no issues to report, while the photo itself exhibits some light wear in spots, along with light touches to a couple of corners.
