This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
An eclectic mixed bag of goodies are available in this lot, with a number of interesting items including pins, glasses, trays, photos, team pictures, Provigo figures and more! First, we have two complete sets of Rah! Rah! sports pins from the early-1970s still affixed to their original cardboard backing, with one set of Eastern Division examples featuring Montreal , Boston, Toronto and others, along with a set featuring the Western Division, with Chicago, Philly, California and others, with all 14 NHL teams represented between both sets. With just minor wear to the cardboard backings, the pins remain in gorgeous condition. Next, we have 7 different Steinberg Canadiens glasses from 1965-66, with Beliveau, Worsley, Ferguson, Talbot, Rousseau, Laperriere and Ralph Backstrom, along with 4 1984 Expos glasses featuring Carter, Rogers, Dawson and Tim Raines. The photos include 20 examples featuring the WHA Winnipeg Jets from the early-to-mid-1970s, most likely distributed as program inserts, with Hull (3 – 2 different), Hedberg, Nilsson, Miller and Joe Daley, along with team photos of the 1970-71 Kings, 1973-74 Penguins, 1972-73 Jets, and a run for the Red Wings from 1970-71, 1971-72 and 1972-73. We also have a few Boston Bruins snapshot-sized photos, with Orr, Esposito, Hodge, Cashman and Fred Stanfield. Rounding out the lot, we have a pair of trays, one for the Canadiens along with an example for Toronto that’s still sealed in its original packaging, a bag full of Provigo Canadiens figurines, a Guy Lafleur standee from Canada Post from 2002, a few plastic 7UP cups including Gretzky and Gary Carter, a couple dozen NHL Pogs, a Theo Fleury puzzle, a Red Kelly Canada Post lithograph and so much more. The 1965-66 Steinberg glasses all remain in very good condition, with tape residue along the rim of each, while the majority of the photos/pictures remain in pleasing condition with just expected handling wear.
