The second Heritage Classic game played after a seven-year hiatus, the 2011 installment of the popular event was played in Calgary, with the hometown Flames taking on the historic Montreal Canadiens at McMahon Stadium on February 20th. The Flames proved to be too much to handle for the Habs, shutting out the visitors 4-0. This Flames jersey was worn in the warm-up prior to the match by goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff. A Reebok name band along with “Goalie Style” size tagging including handwritten “34” is attached to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a textured Flames team crest with single striping band, the retro-style tie-neck has been styled with textured dual-color numbers along with the important 2011 Heritage Classic crest over the right breast. With no discernible wear present, the garment remains in beautiful condition. A MeiGray patch numbered H08542 sits on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Warm-Up and Photo Shoot - NHLPA Set / Vintage - Heritage Classic 2/20/11" example. An LOA from the NHLPA will accompany.
