Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
For those that love collecting game-worn items, we have a neat grouping up for grabs in this lot. We have game-used and signed elbow and shoulder pads for Vincent Damphousse from his time in Montreal, a signed game-worn helmet from an Alumni event for Yvon Lambert and a pair of signed and game-worn pants from Dave Reid worn during his time in Boston circa-1996. The shoulder and elbow pads are Jofa models with screened-on identifiers, along with affixed NHL Center Ice crests. The shoulder pads show nice use with wear to the hard shell shoulder protectors, along with sweat staining to the fabric. The elbow pads show equal use, with “25” handwritten on each. Damphousse has signed the shoulder pads along with each elbow pad in black marker, with the signature on the shoulder pads exhibiting some fading. The Lambert helmet is a Jofa model in solid white with Canadiens’ decals on each side, along with “11” affixed to the center back. The strapping and most of the padding is gone, with the helmet cracked along the top portion. Lambert has signed one side in marker along with his number, and the signature presents well. Lastly, the pants worn by Dave Reid are Tackla models, with the lacing and strapping intact. Yellow rubber logos grace each pant leg, with “Tackla” on a hanging strap on the reverse. The pants show heavy use, with marks, abrasions and rips present, along with a number of team repairs near the right side hip. Reid has signed the pants on the right leg in silver sharpie with “1996”, with the signature showing some loss, especially the last name.
